As we approach the final few weeks of 2020, we’re recommending our Top 5 Funding Calls for December. Whilst many of these have closing dates in January, we always recommend giving yourself plenty of time to apply.

1. ISCF Future Plastic Packaging Solutions

The aim of this competition is to support feasibility studies and industrial research that addresses widely known problems in relation to plastic packaging for consumer products.

 2. R&D funding for smaller business, expression of interest, Autumn 2020

Up to £8 million is allocated from the ATI Programme for SMEs to deliver world leading aerospace technologies in the UK.

3. Innovation continuity loans: Strand 2 November 2020 follow-on competition

Innovate UK is offering up to £210 million in loans to SMEs and third sector organisations that have a challenge in continuing, completing, or following on an innovation project for organisations that find themselves facing a sudden shortage or even unavailability of funds resulting directly from the COVID-19 pandemic.

4. Removing air pollutants from homes to safeguard health

The aim of the competition is to develop and demonstrate new products or services which will extract harmful pollutants from the air in domestic environments in order to safeguard the health of occupants, particularly young or vulnerable people.

5. Innovation continuity loans: Strand 3 November 2020 new project competition
