The first UNITE Open Call invites digital health innovators from seven participating European regions to develop high-impact solutions that can transform healthcare delivery, empower patients and strengthen European digital health ecosystems. With a total budget of €4 million, the call supports collaborative projects that advance personalised remote care and data-driven healthcare. Through coordinated collaboration, UNITE aims to accelerate digital deep-tech solutions that address demographic challenges, ageing populations and modern healthcare needs.

• Support rate: 100 percent (lump sum model)
Innovation Challenges
1. Personalised and Human-Centric Remote Care
Solutions that: Support patient self-management, Improve access for remote and underserved groups, Reduce the need for in-person visits, and Strengthen continuity of care.
2. Advancing European Health Data Spaces
Innovations that: Improve access to health data to support better care, Facilitate research and innovation through data sharing, and Harmonise regulatory aspects and promote interoperability.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be legally established in one of the UNITE regions which includes Region Zealand (Denmark), Northern Netherlands (Netherlands), Central Macedonia (Greece), Lombardy (Italy), Extremadura (Spain), Scotland (United Kingdom), and Romania (national scope).
Consortium Requirements
Each consortium must include at least three organisations from three different UNITE regions:
• One company or close-to-market solution provider
• One research organisation
• One end-user organisation that can demonstrate the solution in real-life settings
Consortia must also include:
• At least one organisation from a strong innovation region
• At least one organisation from a moderate or emerging region
