Eureka Globalstars Japan: Round 3

Eligibility:

• Open to UK-registered organisations collaborating with partners in Japan and other Eureka countries including Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Netherlands, and Singapore.
• Projects must focus on industrial research with the potential to lead to new products, services, or processes.
• Must include effective collaboration between UK and Japanese     partners as a minimum requirement.

Project focus:

The competition supports projects that:

• Develop innovative, game-changing ideas
• Deliver significant economic impact and ROI through commercialisation
• Have a clear route to market within 2-3 years of project completion
• Benefit from the synergy between participating countries working together

Key evaluation criteria:

• Innovation potential of the proposed solution
• A strong, deliverable business plan with clear market potential
• Financial feasibility and good value for money
• Collaborative value between the UK, Japan, and other Eureka partners

Restrictions:

• Projects cannot focus on non-civilian technologies, nuclear, or pharmaceuticals.
• Requests for more than £600,000 per project from     Innovate UK will not be funded.
