Nick is a part-time Senior Business Advisor with Inventya. He is an experienced consultant, hands-on business developer and business coach, for start-up and young high growth businesses.  He applies over 30 years’ experience in the life-science / biotech / healthcare, cleantech and digital sectors, along with a mix of traditional and Lean-Startup approaches, to help establish & grow businesses.

Currently Nick is also Founding Director BioSpring Ltd (part-time), Board Advisor to Ostique Ltd, and an occasional coach/mentor for Innovate UK’s ICURe program.

Previously he has;

• coached / mentored & often ran numerous start-up and growth accelerators.
• cofounded three businesses as CEO or Commercial Dir
• acted as interim commercial director for several companies
• been a NED or board advisor on six occasions,
• a member of three investment panels, and
• an Innovate UK grant assessor.

Nick holds a PhD Microbial Biochemistry & Genetics from Birmingham University, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and an Investment Management Certificate.
