Overview

EUROGIA2030 is a research and innovation programme focused on supporting low-carbon energy solutions. Its aim is to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, support environmental sustainability and contribute to long-term economic growth.

The programme encourages organisations from different countries to work together on applied research and innovation projects. These projects are expected to deliver practical outcomes that support industry, cities and communities in addressing key energy and climate challenges.

Max/Indicative Funding:

  • There isn’t a fixed single “max grant” amount published at the Eurogia2030 call level, as funding is handled nationally by each participating country’s funding agency. Funding rates and amounts depend on the type of organisation and national rules, but typically:
  • SMEs may receive up to ~50–80% of eligible project costs as a grant depending on the country’s regime (e.g., France up to 80% for startups, Portugal up to 80% for SMEs, Canada up to 50% under IRAP, etc.)
  • Some countries provide loans instead of grants at certain rates (e.g., France up to €3m loan) and others offer mixed models.

What the programme supports
