The Centre for Global Eco-Innovation is the only centre of its kind in Europe and is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund. It brings together the expertise, resources and global contacts of Lancaster University and the University of Liverpool, together with international commercialisation consultancy Inventya Ltd. SME-led collaborative R&D partnership with two world-ranking universities underpin the development of new products, processes and services for the global marketplace, which by virtue of their use, manufacture, raw materials, reuse or disposal, deliver positive environmental impacts.
Inventya is seeking to appoint a service provider(s) to recruit and engage 35 SMEs in the North West region, providing 12 hours of business support and to recruit companies for one-month University internships in Merseyside.
The indicative total project cost is £30,000 +VAT (including expenses and disbursements). This project value may be allocated to more than one provider. The cost per SME supported should be clearly shown, as should the cost of providing a referral (which the University of Liverpool is able to provide a student internship). CGE may contact companies which have submitted tenders to discuss delivery risk and in agreement modify the contract size and value (ie number of SMEs to be supported).
Please note that the indicative value is not the budget and only provides the service providers with guidance as to the depth of work required, for which value should be demonstrated.
