Opportunity Overview:

The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) is offering research grants aimed at fostering collaborative projects in the arts and humanities. This funding program seeks to support well-defined collaborative research led by a project lead and at least one project co-lead.

Eligibility:

  • Must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding.
  • Both a project lead and at least one project co-lead are required.

Scope:

  • Collaborative projects can involve multiple institutions, researchers in different areas, and inter-disciplinary teams.
  • The arts and humanities should be the leading element in shaping the project’s research questions and methods.
  • Minimum commitment of four hours per week from the project lead and co-leads is expected.

Funding:

  • AHRC will fund 80% of the Full Economic Cost (FEC) of your project.

Additional Points:

  • Open to international collaborations.
  • Follows the principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers and the Technician Commitment.
